Climate Risk Assessment
Climate change is reshaping how industries, communities, and ecosystems operate—and understanding these risks is the first step toward building resilience.
Earthwise Institute’s Climate Risk Assessment project aims to provide a clear, evidence-based picture of climate-related risks across key sectors and geographies. Our goal is to help governments, investors, and local stakeholders anticipate the challenges posed by physical risks (such as extreme weather, flooding, heat stress) and transition risks (such as policy shifts, carbon pricing, and market changes).
The project will combine geospatial data, climate projections, and sector-specific indicators to map risk hotspots and highlight potential economic and environmental impacts. As the work develops, findings will be made accessible through interactive dashboards, regional briefs, and targeted case studies, supporting practical decision-making at both national and local levels.
By offering reliable, data-driven insights into future climate risks, this initiative seeks to empower public and private actors to plan smarter, protect vulnerable communities, and align investments with a climate-resilient future.
